I heard you’re into knowing about fitness, rather than just doing what you’re told…
I’ve got some thoughts I’d like to share with you from these last few weeks that could help you out in your everyday life.
So I’m currently on a bit of a diet myself after my birthday and some travels over the past month. And here’s one KEY, underrated food I’ve been eating…potatoes. Yes potatoes. That simple. I truly believe this is the best carb. Easily digested for most people. So many ways to make them. But the main reason I like them for this diet, is their satiety index. They just make you feel much more full! For the same amount of calories, you can eat a way larger quantities of potatoes over rice or any other carb. There were tests done that found potatoes to be the most filling food, and 2.5 times more filling compared to other carbs. Cheap and delicious.
A key aspect in your fitness journey is finding something you truly enjoy. Oftentimes that means doing a workout or exercises that are not “optimal” or are not a direct path to your sexiest body possible. It’s better to do something that you can stick to long term, than to choose something “better” that you will end up quitting in a few months.
I sometimes wonder the direction that the “fitness industry” will go in the coming decades. There was a huge aerobics era that lasted for 20 years. Now bodybuilding/“aesthetics movement” has become more popular. In the past, girls wanted a rail thin figure, nowadays there’s a shift to desiring bigger hips. What do you think is next?
Since I am on a mini-cutting diet, here are my favorite low calorie sauces: light mayo, mustard, Walden Farms Thousand Island Dressing, G Hughes Sugar Free Barbecue Sauce, G Hughes Sugar Free Sweet Chili, and Tabasco Sauce.
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to read through all of this, hopefully some of those points prove to be useful to you!
Do let me know of any topics you’d like to get my thoughts on.
Thanks as always,
